When customers are not using your kiosk, there are a number of functions and features that you can utilize directly within the device. In this article, we'll take a brief look at the Kiosk Login Screen and the Kiosk Settings and Device Info Pages.
Kiosk Login Screen
Opening a non-configured or logged-out kiosk will take you to a login page that looks like this:
How to Find Kiosk Login Credentials
- Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal using location-level credentials
- Select the 'Settings' icon at the top right of the screen
- Select 'Login Credential' from the dropdown
This will display a small popup window, which will provide you with:
- The Email and Password needed to complete your initial login, and
- A list of Employees and the Access Codes that they can use to access the settings pages of your active kiosks.
After Signing In
After you sign in to your device, you will gain access to our Kiosk's internal feature list. The following is a brief summary of what you'll find on the different pages of the app:
Select Device Info from the left sidebar to view this page.
User: This is the device name you entered when you configured this device
Current IP: This will provide you with the device’s IP Address
App ID: Your App ID is used for payment partner setup and receipt configuration
App version: This will list the current kiosk build
Select Payment from the left sidebar to view this page.
This screen will show you the currently accepted payment types on the kiosk
Select Printer from the left sidebar to view this page.
From this screen, you can view the status and assignments of all printers
Your Z Report is your end-of-day sales report. This can be run from your devices and also from the GRUBBRR Portal.
Gross sales shows the subtotal, tax, tip, upcharge, and total for each order within the selected time period.
Item sales shows the quantity of each item sold during the selected time period
From Order history you can view all orders for the day as well as reprint receipts for past orders.
From the Items screen, you can enable or disable individual items and categories.
GRUBBRR supports Concessionaire, or multi-concept menus, through our Kiosk. These settings can be configured through the kiosk if they are applicable to your business; however, there are several other steps involved, and GRUBBRR recommends configuring these settings through your GRUBBRR Portal instead of at the kiosk.
To return to the menu, tap this button.
To manually sync kiosk data from the device, select ‘Refresh Data.’
Use this icon to log out of a device if necessary. Logging out requires you to re-enter your access code and brings you back to the Kiosk Login Screen.
