Kiosk: Device Guide

When your kiosk is not being used by customers, there are a number of functions and features that you can utilize. This article will cover the Kiosk Login Screen and the Kiosk Settings and Device Info Pages.

Kiosk Login Screen

Opening a non-configured or logged-out kiosk will take you to a login page that looks like this:

To log in to your device, you will need your location's email address and password.

To find this information:

  1. Log in to the GRUBBRR backend with company credentials
  2. Select ‘Location’ from the sidebar menu
  3. Select ‘Location’ from the dropdown menu
  4. Search for your location name
  5. Copy down the email address
  6. Select ‘Show Password’
  7. Copy down the password

Kiosk Settings

There are a number of settings that can be viewed or changed directly from your device.

To access kiosk settings:

  1. Tap the logo on the home screen five times
  2. Enter the access code
    • This can be retrieved from the GRUBBRR backend:
      1. Log in to the backend with location-level credentials
      2. Select ‘Employee Management’ from the left sidebar menu
      3. Select ‘Employee’ from the dropdown menu
      4. Copy down an access code
  3. This will automatically take you to the ‘Settings’ page

Device Info

Select ‘Device Info’ from the left sidebar to view this page.

User: This is the device name you entered when you configured this device

Current IP: This will provide you with the device’s IP Address

App ID: Your App ID is used for payment partner setup and receipt configuration

App version: This will list the current kiosk build

Printer

Select ‘Printer’ from the left sidebar to view this page.

From this screen, you can view the status and assignments of all printers

Payment

Select 'Payment' from the left sidebar to view this page.

This screen will show you the currently accepted payment types on the kiosk

Z Report

Your 'Z Report' is your end-of-day sales report. This can be run from your devices and also from the GRUBBRR backend.

Gross Sales

'Gross sales' shows the subtotal, tax, tip, upcharge, and total for each order within the selected time period.

Item Sales

'Item sales' shows the quantity of each item sold during the selected time period

Order History

From 'Order history' you can view all orders for the day as well as reprint receipts for past orders.

Items

From the 'Items' screen, you can enable or disable individual items and categories.

Concessionaire

'Concessionaire' allows you to link the kiosk to one or more concessionaires, limiting the items offered to the ones available within those concessionaires.

If you set a default concessionaire, that one will be selected initially when the customer views the menu.

Launch Kiosk

To return to the menu, tap this button.

Refresh Data

To manually sync kiosk data from the device, select ‘Refresh Data.’

Logout

Use this icon to log out of a device if necessary. Logging out requires an access code and it will take you back to the Kiosk Login Screen.
